Richard Mille Launches the RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph in White Quartz TPT®
The new RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph in White Quartz TPT® houses the brand's most sophisticated automatic movement. Its bright matte finish creates a striking visual contrast between the refined elegance of the case and the raw power and intricate construction of the movement.
A hallmark of Richard Mille's highly complex automatic watches, the RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph masterfully blends sporty aesthetics with sophisticated craftsmanship. This new model features a case crafted from white Quartz TPT® – a pure visual expression that puts the focus on fine watchmaking.
The new RM 65-01 watch continues to feature the brand's most powerful RMAC4 automatic chronograph movement, beating at a high frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour). This exceptionally high frequency enables this split-second chronograph movement to achieve exceptional 1/10-second accuracy. The movement's vertical coupling mechanism and two 6-tooth column wheels ensure precise activation and smooth operation of the chronograph function.
Comprising over 600 parts, this watch is the only automatic split-second chronograph in the brand's collection. This chronograph undergoes a rigorous battery of tests to ensure its proper functioning under all conditions. These include simulated shock and drop tests, a 10-year accelerated aging test on all functions, and tests for water resistance and magnetic field resistance.
The new RM 65-01 in white Quartz TPT® has officially joined the RM 65-01 collection, becoming the sixth model available. Each case material has its own style and shows a unique aesthetic charm, while also combining excellent durability, practical functions and wearing comfort, perfectly interpreting Richard Mille's persistent pursuit of high-performance watchmaking technology.
